TYRESE PITY THE FOOL

Last night I talked to Tyrese on the set of Legion, an ambitious religious action/horror movie co-starring Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid. It was late at night in the cold, dusty desert outside Santa Fe, but the elements didn't keep Tyrese from dishing on his many upcoming projects... including playing BA Baracus in John Singleton's The A-Team.

Tyrese is excited by the opportunity, even if it isn't set in stone, since the script is still being worked on and him taking the role would depend on scheduling (Tyrese is a busy dude - look for more updates on Transformers 2 and Desert Eagle when I get back to LA).

He said that a mohawk is not out of the question, but otherwise he's excited to bring BA into the 21st century, so don't expect a ton of bling around his neck. The not in bad shape by any means singer/actor did mention that he'll be hitting the weights to prepare for the role, saying that the physique of the original is a lot to live up to.

There is one other Mr T trait that he might integrate, though: "I've been practicing my double dutch," he laughed.

Bradley Cooper es Faz

Bradley Cooper (Los Rompebodas, ¡Si Señor!) le ha dicho a IESB.net que ha sido contratado para interpretar a Faz (Faceman o Face en el original) en The A-Team, la adaptación al cine de la serie de TV Brigada A.

Cooper se une a Common (Terminator: La Salvación), quien interpreta a B.A. Baracus (Mario Baracus en el doblaje, interpretado por Mr. T), en la historia de los cuatro veteranos de guerra culpados de un crimen que no cometieron, y al escapar, se convierten en mercenarios fugitivos, dispuestos a ayudar a los oprimidos mientras evitan a las autoridades.

Cooper también negó rotundamente que haya siquiera audicionado para el rol de Linterna Verde (Green Lantern, 2010)

Los otros dos miembros del equipo, el líder Hannibal, y el loco Murdoch, no han sido anunciados aún. El film será dirigido por Joe Carnahan para estrenar en Junio de 2010.
