It's a Dr.'s duel on The Big Bang Theory!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Fox's House Hugh Laurie has booked an appearance on CBS' The Big Bang Theory. And who he will be playing? None other that Dr. Gregory House himself!

While no other details have emerged, Hugh Laurie will be appearing as House, and apparently will have a bitter showdown with Dr. Cooper, who will not be happy with the prognosis and will demand more tests.

TV crossovers, between shows that doesn't share production company, or network are rare, but not unprecedented. On 1999, Det. John Munch (from NBC's Homicide: Life on the Street) appeared on Fox's The X-Files episode "Unusual Suspects". For sure, the deal here will have The Big Bang Theory guys on an episode of House soon enough.
