Las siete películas que se mantienen en competencia para el premio de la Academia para la categoría Efectos Especiales en la 82º entrega fueron anunciadas.

El jueves 21 de Enero, todos los miembros de la rama de efectos especiales de la Academia podrán ver cortos de 15 minutos de cada una de las películas de la lista corta, y los miembros votaran para nominar a tres para la estatuilla.

Las nominaciones para los 82° Premios de la Academia serán anunciados el Martes 2 de Febrero.

Los Premios de la Academia para los films de 2009 serán presentados el Domingo 7 de Marzo de 2010, en el Teatro Kodak en Hollywood & Highland, y televisados en vivo por ABC. La presentación de los Oscars también será televisada en más de 200 países.

Todo bien con Sector 9, de las mejores del año sin duda, pero Oscar de Efectos? mmmm.... Están muy bien para ser, seguramente, hechos con 2 pesos, pero ni a palos a la altura de... bueh, el resto de Hollywood
